Dan Scolnick: President and Chief Technical Officer

Dan Scolnick is the managing partner and Chief Technical Officer of IT Computer Support of New York, LLC., a privately held business that provides managed IT services, project management, cloud computing, pre-engineered IT and New York City based on-demand services and support. Dan leads the company's worldwide commercial applications and channels organizations. Under his leadership, ITCSNY has established itself as the IT computer support vendor of choice among government, financial and medical institutions.

His expertise in systems design and analysis has established new standards of operation and implementation of design, interfaces and customer support. He has designed, written, and supported custom software applications and established data networks and security systems for Fortune 500 companies. He has shared his expertise in implementing, integrating and managing technology with clients thereby giving them a competitive edge through appropriate application of technology. The result has been improved efficiency, reliability and security of their systems. He has successfully leveraged technology for his business clients, giving them a competitive edge.

Dan is a former Adjunct Associate Professor of Information Technology at prestigious New York University and was a highly respected member of the Dean's Advisory Council there. He developed and taught both introductory and advanced courses in computer networking and applications software.

During his thirty year management career, Dan has held senior positions at Merrill Lynch Advanced Office Systems, Bellcore, Guiness United Distillers, GTE World Headquarters, Citibank, Chase, Ascend Communications and Lucent Technologies. Prior to co-founding ITCSNY, he was the President and CEO of DMS Computer Systems and Validigm Corporation. He holds a Bachelors degree from New York University.

Sam Levy: Chief Operations Officer

Sam Levy is the Chief Operations Officer and a founding partner of IT Computer Support of New York, LLC. With 25 years of experience implementing complex electrical, digital video surveillance and data management systems, Levy is renowned for his ability to design and manage sizeable and complex projects. His reputation of seamlessly integrating large scale projects and bringing those projects in on-time and on-budget is respected industry-wide.

Sam transitioned early on from working as a construction electrician and a life safety engineer to a career in information technology. Working with high profile private clients such as GTE, Lucent Technologies, and Ascend Communications, as well as state and local governments, Sam increased client revenue streams by utilizing his expertise in system integration. He managed the technical department at a major, prestigious Wall Street integration firm before co-founding IT Computer Support of NY with Dan Scolnick.

Andrew Shih: Senior Technical Support Manager

Andrew Shih is the Senior Systems Engineer and Technical Department Manager of IT Computer Support of New York.  As head of the technical team, Andrew’s responsibilities include scheduling, supervising and training systems engineers.  He develops company processes and procedures, oversees information technology and shared and administrative services, including indirect and services procurement.  He also is responsible for optimizing business processes company-wide, infrastructure virtualization, data virtualization, and security protocols.  Andrew interfaces with clients for strategic planning and is the technical advisor to the ITCSNY sales and marketing team. He is the Level Three Senior Technologist for the technical support department and is a member of the company’s prestigious technical council.

Previously, Andrew’s experience with the Royal Bank of Canada lead to a executive position at UBS AG where he was responsible for their Hedge Fund clients and teams, and remote branch offices.

A  New Jersey native, Andrew earned a BA from University of Connecticut.   He has over 13 years of professional experience in the information technology field and has acquired several technical certifications, including MSFT MCP, Cisco CCNA and Alcatel CBT.
